Attention dealers! Are you interested in joining us in our Dealers’ Room at CONsole Room 2014? If so, let us know – we’d love to have you! As the first dedicated Doctor Who convention in the Twin Cities, CONsole Room will be a great opportunity for you to get your Doctor Who-related merchandise in front of people who may not have seen it before.
Our table rates are as follows:
- One table – $125 for the full weekend
- Two or more tables – $50 for each additional table for the full weekend
- Power – If you need power run to your table, there is a surcharge of $25 (covers at least two tables)
We’ve still got space left, but it’s filling up quickly, so be sure to e-mail us ASAP if you’re interested in reserving a spot. Your merchandise doesn’t have to be specific only to Doctor Who, so feel free to contact us if you have questions. The year is progressing and we continue to put together what promises to be a great event for you in May! We had a convention committee (or, as we like to say, concom) meeting on 11 Jan and all of us got to hear the latest and greatest from all the staff members regarding the work they’re doing to make CONsole Room 2014 a reality. We’re putting together a progress report and will be sending that out in the near future to make sure you’re all in the loop too, so look for that soon.
One open item from our meeting that we need your help with is for all you artists out there. We’d love to have an Art Show or Artists’ Alley at CONsole Room, but we don’t currently have anyone who can run it. If you think you might be interested in doing this, e-mail us at email@example.com or message us through our Facebook page. We’d love to have someone with convention experience take the lead on this, but even if you don’t and you’re still interested, let us know.

Happy Who Year to all! Hard to believe it’s 2014 already, isn’t it?? The plus side of time flying by is that CONsole Room 2014 will be here before you know it! We’ve seen a lot of interest in the convention over the last couple of weeks, so thank you to everyone for spreading the word!
With the start of the new year comes new registration fees, with our current prices now breaking down as follows:
Sponsorship Level – $150 from now until the convention weekend
Adults – $60 until 15 April – $75 at the door
Students (ages 13-20) – $45 until 15 April – $60 at the door
Children (ages 5-12) – $30 until 15 April – $45 at the door
Pre-Convention Mixer – For just $25, you can join our exclusive event on the Thursday night before the convention, where you’ll get the chance to mingle with guests and attendees as well as enjoy appetizers and a cash bar. Limited to only 150 people!
