The Science of Regeneration

Doctor Who may include some questionable science, but these two Featured Guests use anything but. We’re proud to welcome KRISTI CURRY ROGERS and RAYMOND ROGERS back to CONsole Room 2019 as Featured Guests!

Kristy is a paleontologist who studies the evolutionary history and paleobiology of the long-necked sauropods dinosaurs. Her research also includes the analysis of the microscopic details of bones, which holds important clues about growth rates and life history in dinosaurs.

Ray is a geologist and paleontologist who studies ancient records that preserve abundant vertebrate fossils, most notably dinosaurs. He focuses on the reconstruction of past environments, and he is particularly interested in conditions that lead to exceptional fossil preservation.

Rex Returns in 2019

We are proud to welcome comic writer KATY REX to CONsole Room 2019!

Katy is the writer behind the creator-owned Jade Street Protection Services and is known for her work editing 2017 Eisner nominee Kim & Kim from Black Mask Studios. She is currently writing Charmed: The Manga, Sweet Valley High, Doctor Who, and the 2000AD all-female summer special event. She loves her dog, butt jokes, and dinosaurs. Her short story “Thank God” recently appeared in the critically acclaimed independently published anthology This Nightmare Kills Fascists.

Christopher Jones Returns in 2019

We are pleased to announce that Christopher Jones, professional illustrator and comic book artist, is returning to CONsole Room again this year! Chris, who has worked with the likes of DC, Marvel, and Image, and Titan Comics, has worked on Doctor Who comics featuring the Third and Seventh Doctors. We’re so excited to have him join us as a Featured Guest again!
