Guest of Honour Spotlight: Robert Smith?

Writer, editor, zombie expert (yes, really), Robert Smith? has it all!

He is the author of Bookwyrm (ATB Publishing), Who is the Doctor, Who’s 50, and The Doctors Are In (ECW Press) guides to the wonderful world of Doctor Who. He’s also the editor extraordinaire of the Outside In series of pop-culture reviews with a twist (ATB Publishing), covering Doctor Who, Star Trek, Buffy, Angel and Firefly. In his day job, he’s a professor of mathematics and a world leading expert on zombies.

2020 Featured Guest Spotlight: TC Trek Trivia

For the past three years, The TC Trek Trivia crew has produced Wibbly Wobbly Wednesdays, the ONLY pub trivia in the state dedicated exclusively to Doctor Who! Every fourth Wednesday of the month, Whovians from all over the Twin Cities converge on the Driftwood Char Bar for a night of food, fun, and a whole lot of WHO. Every edition is all ages, has no cover, and there are prizes for the first- and last- place team/player.

The next edition of Wibbly Wobbly Wednesdays is TOMORROW at 7PM at Driftwood Char Bar! You can learn more about it in their event on Facebook.

It’s Affirmative! John Leeson to Join Us in 2020!

It’s affirmative! We’re thrilled to announce that JOHN LEESON, the voice of the Doctor’s robotic dog companion K9, will be joining us at CONsole Room 2020!

John voiced K9 from 1977-2010 on Doctor Who, K9 and Company, The Sarah Jane Adventures, and K9. He has also voiced the character for Big Finish and BBV Productions.

Other credits include appearances in Blake’s 7, the giant Biggum in Jigsaw, Bungle in the children’s television series Rainbow, and the Space Gypsy characters on Children’s UK hospital radio. He also contributed to the charity reference book Behind the Sofa: Celebrity Memories of Doctor Who.
