Welcome Janet Fielding to CONsole Room 2017!

We are pleased to announce that Janet Fielding will be joining us as a Guest of Honour at CONsole Room 2017!

In the Whoniverse, Fielding played Tegan Jovanka, an Australian air stewardess who accompanied both the Fourth and Fifth Doctors on their adventures through time and space. Fielding left Doctor Who in 1983 but has since reprised her role as Tegan in various Doctor Who specials and Big Finish audio plays.

Outside of Doctor Who, Fielding has worked in a number of other roles in the film industry. She is a founder of Women in Film and Television UK and started Project MotorHouse, a charity that works with deprived youth. Fielding has also worked as a theatrical agent for clients such as Simon Callow, Hugh Bonneville, and even Eighth Doctor Paul McGann.

As a reminder, we’ve extended our lowest membership registration rates through February 19 to celebrate Janet joining us at this year’s convention. We hope to see you there!

Welcome Peter Davison to CONsole Room 2017!

We are THRILLED to announce that Fifth Doctor Peter Davison will be joining us as a Guest of Honour at CONsole Room 2017!

Best known for his roles in All Creatures Great and Small and Doctor Who, Davison was introduced to the Doctor Who universe in 1981 at age 29, the youngest actor at the time to have played the lead role. Davison continued his role as the fifth reincarnation of The Doctor for three years, leaving the set in 1984 after encountering beloved monsters from Daleks to Cybermen and beyond. He later returned to this role in on a number of special occasions, including the 1993 charity special Dimensions in Time and the 2007 minisode Time Crash.
