GPS Charity Auction
The GPS Charity Auction is one of the places at CONsole Room where you can acquire geeky items for your collections, or gifts for others, etc. The auction is ran by and supports the Geek Partnership Society (GPS), a partner of CONsole Room.
The Geek Partnership Society (GPS) is a non-profit organization with a mission of celebrating imagination, inspiring creativity, and building our community through service and education. Funds raised go to support year round geeky community building with clubs and events, and public programs such as Project Lighthouse (an educational grants program), the GPS Annual Writing Contest, Space Camp Scholarship Fund, and GPS Arts Initiative.

What to expect
The GPS Charity Auction is only available during the convention. When the auction goes lives, attendees will receive information in the CONsole Room newsletters about how to participate. The link to the live auction will also be posted here.
ONLINE BIDDING
Bidding for the Charity Auction will happen entirely online and be available to both virtual and in-person attendees. In order to place bids, you need to have (or create) an account on the charity auction site.
Bidding for the GPS Charity Auction will be online and open to the public during: Friday and Saturday of the convention.

Saturday at 8:00 PM CST
Anyone who is registered for CONsole Room will receive a link giving them early access to the auction site.

IN-PERSON HOURS
If you are in-person at CONsole Room, you will be able to view items available for bid in the GPS Room at our convention hotel. Bidding will still occur online. The GPS Charity Auction room will be open as follows:
Friday 3PM - 6PM*
Viewing + Online Bidding
Saturday 10AM - 8PM*
Viewing + Online Bidding
Sunday 10AM - 2PM*
Sunday Sale + Pick Up

PICKUP or SHIPPING
There are two ways to receive any items you win.
OPTION 1: (Preferred) PICKUP at the convention
When: during the open hours on Sunday
Note: if you can pickup, but not during this timeframe, email gps.auctions@gmail.com to arrange something.
OPTION 2: SHIPPING
If you are not able to pick up your item(s) during either of the above, we can ship them to you.
Please send an email to gps.auctions@gmail.com to request shipping.
You will receive a separate invoice for the cost of shipping; cost cannot be determined until packaged.
